And the winner is Adam Young, but maybe it's really everyone in the Shoreline community too! As we get to enjoy the variety of artisanal breads, breakfast pastries and sweet and savory delights that fill the counters of Sift Bake Shop in Mystic, CT.  Owner (along with wife, Ebbie Young) and Head Pastry Chef, Adam Young, was crowned the winner of the second season of the Food Network baking competition show on June 18th.

Sift Bake Shop is a family owned, French focused bakery specializing in artisanal breads, pastries, desserts, macarons, signature cakes, savory items, and more. Bakers arrive by 3:00am (Thankfully they serve coffee too!!)  to start the daily production, and every single menu item is made fresh daily within the in-house exhibition kitchen, where guests can enjoy watching the bakers hard at work through the glass windows. Each and every menu item starts from scratch with only the best and freshest ingredients - each and every single Sift product is made right here in their kitchen. Heads up - because they are committed to maintaining the freshest baked goods possible, they aim to sell out of product by the close of business. So once it's gone, it's gone!
