Members of the Astronomical Society of New Haven. the Shoreline Astronomical Society, and the Thames Amateur Astronomical Society will have their telescopes set up to show you some of the best objects in the autumn sky. If the skies are clear, we will be able to see Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, star clusters, nebulae, the Andromeda Galaxy, and many more fascinating objects in deep space.

Bring binoculars if you have them so you can do your own exploring in between looks through the big telescopes.  If you bring a flashlight, please cover it with red cellophane or red plastic to preserve everyone’s night vision.

Get your costumes ready for a spooktacular time at Madison’s 13th Annual Trunk or Treat on the Green! 🎃 On October 31st from 4 to 6 p.m., the Green will transform into a Halloween wonderland where cars are decked out, candy is plentiful, and the fun is nonstop.

Come make spooky pudding creations that look like graveyards or pumpkin patches using delicious, edible items! Space is limited, sign up is required for this event. For teens and tweens in grades 5-12.

Happy Halloween at Mystic Seaport Museum! Children come dressed in your spookiest, silliest, and most spectacular costumes for this annual community trick-or-treating event. Enter for FREE through the North Entrance from 3:00-6:00 p.m. No registration required.
