Children's Theater: The Day the Crayons Quit

  • Henry Carter Hull LIbrary 10 Killingworth Turnpike Clinton, CT, 06413 United States (map)

Grove School’s Children’s Theater Troupe is proud to bring their adaptation of the children’s picture books, The Day the Crayons Quit and The Day the Crayons Came Home to Henry Carter Hull Library this Summer. These books by author Drew Daywalt tell the story of a box of crayons whose inhabitants decide to go on strike after growing sick and tired of how they’re being used. You will meet White crayon, who is suffering an existential crisis, Pink crayon who is fed up with coloring nothing but princesses, and a squabbling over the Sunshine Yellow and Orange crayon. Watch them bring this New York Times Bestseller to life in this short (15 or so minutes) play. You will never color the same way again!
